How do you divide this polynomial using long division? Thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x ^{2}+2x ^{2}y-2xy+2xy ^{2}-3y ^{2}/x+y\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wish I could draw this... you'll have to visualise. picture division like they made u do in 4th grade, with the big number in a... half box? (u know-like, the square root sign)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[4\sqrt{8}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like that, only it means division, not sqr root.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

set it up like that, with the polynomial inside the box and the binomial outside

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep I know how to set it up but I am having a problem solving it :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh.. sry. I'll work on it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha :P Oh no your are really helpful. Thanks a lot!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry. I am stuck. Have fun w/ that! XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
