How did Begum Hazrat Mahal Die ?

The Begum breathed her last at a place called Nuwakot in Nepal on April 7, 1879.

After being defeated by the British, in 1858, she retreated to Nepal. Initially she was refused asylum by the Rana prime minister Jang Bahadur but was later allowed to stay in Nepal. She died there in 1879 and it is said she was buried in a nameless grave on the grounds of Kathmandu's Jama Masjid.
