test in an hour over double and triple integrals, integating in polar coordinates, spherical coordinates and change of integration variables. anyone got any tips or tricks?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

study ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

better you than me

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i aint got the sphericals down yet, but the rest .... well, its all rather dicey

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol, been studying!! all night long. well, except for when i was sleeping

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sphericals are fun actually, makes alot of stuff tons easier. i'm mostly worried about the change of variables and finding the right jacobian transform

OpenStudy (amistre64):

jacob i havent done yet; by change of variables you mean switching out the bounds for xyz stuff?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

-Study-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nah, change of variables is pretty much like changing to polar or shperical coordinates, but instead of a preset system of variables, you choose the variables yourself. it's the way that you would go about orginally finding the spherical or polar coordinate transforms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only thing good for spherical coordinate is integrating over sphere; everything else is headache

OpenStudy (anonymous):

spheres or sphereical objects, like a ovoid or something. but you gotta admit, does make those ones tons easier!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright, i'm off to study more, thanks for the chat guys! catch ya later!
