Two charged batteries A and B are at potentials -30V and +20V respectively and they are connected by a conducting wire. In what direction will the current flow?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Conventional current flow is from high to low potential...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that I know and so feel that it will flow from A to B but need confirmation that my thinking is correct.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

according to the convention, it will flow from +20 to -30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that will be conventional current... what about electric current.????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u mean the actual flow of electrons? yeah that'll be in the opposite dirn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks.... and a medal....☺

OpenStudy (anonymous):

+ve 2 -ve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep, like I said: Conventional current flow is from high to low potential...
