Should be easy "-6x-8y=4 What would be the slope of a line perpendicular to this line? What is the slope of a line parallel to this line?" Is the answer simply, parallel line would have a slope of -3/4 and a perpendicular would have a slope of 3/4?

Hey man!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

It is EASY!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

should i solve that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey Saifoo, how're you? haha I know I know.. I put it into slope-intercept y=-3/4x-1/2 so I figured parallel slope would be the same slope and perpendicular 4/3?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

yea, u r correct.

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

parallel line slope = -3/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah ok.. sweet.. just wanted to make sure before I submit my answers heh Thanks buddy

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Np man! :)
