Give the Amplitude and Period (in terms of Pi), for the function : y=-3(sin(x))

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Amplitude of y = Asin(Bx+C)+D is |A| and the period is 2pi/B In this case, A = -3, so the amplitude is |-3|=3 Also, B=1, which means that the period is 2pi/1 = 2pi
