1) Start by finding the y-intercept (plug in 0 for x). 2) Then go down 1 and right 2 (according to the slope) to find a second point 3) Then draw the line between those points.
First make this equation into a y = mx +b format So bring the x onto the other side by substracting it and then divide by 2 giving us y = -x/2 +4 Then as we know slope is equal to -1/2 and the y intercept is at +4 -Make a point at +4 and move down one (-1) and right two (+2) Keep going until you get a long enough line
