I studied abt frames in : http://w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_frame_navigation but i don understand wat the code frame_a.htm actually means??? if the pages are changing how can we specify the frame src ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

frame_a.htm is a webpage that will be displayed inside that frame for example if i create a contact.htm webpage and i want to show it in a frame ,then src defines the location of the webpage

as you can see from the left panel.. frame_a is inclosed in a frame tag under a parent tag <frameset> so, the second frame will load "frame_a.htm" by default which will load in the second frame column which has a * width = Total widht - 120.
