find the exact value of the logarithmic expression. log(1/5)^625

OpenStudy (deoxna):

-69897/160

the only answers i have for this question are a) -1/4 b) -4 c) 1/4 d) 4

OpenStudy (deoxna):

Then it'd be -4, because a negative exponent gives you the reciprocal (switch the fraction from 1/5 to 5/1) and then 5^4=625. The reason i got that huge fraction before is because I thought you meant: \[\log_{10}(1/5)^{625} \]
