I would like help double checking this problem because the back of the book gives me a different answer

x^3-a^3 / x-a

divide it out long hand is an easy way to check

x^2 +ax + a^2

x-a | x^3-a^3
-x^3 +ax^2
------------
ax^2 - a^3
-ax^2 +a^2 x
--------------
a^2 x - a^3
-a^2 x + a^3
-------------
0 + 0
