Systems of equations can be solved by graphing or by using substitution or elimination. What are the pros and cons of each method? Which method do you like best? Why? What circumstances would cause you to use a different method?

to me graphing is a visual aid; it is the least accurate of them all

substitution is the most reliable method, but is the most labor intensive

elimination is fun, simply because you get to "eliminate" stuff lol

I prefer the the abstract rendition and then using its construction by filling in the specifics of the problem.  That way im not confused as much about what numbers go where...
