1,Aaah I can breath, Could nasal lavage replace over the counter sinus/allergy medication? 2,Donating youth, Can transfusing a younger persons blood into a more mature body really make you younger? if it possible I want more detail to better understand, some research, and a citation of where you researched.thank you very much.
I can answer the second one. The blood transfusion does not make you any older or younger because it does not replace your DNA, on which your age depends on. So the answer is no, if that could be done then everyone would be having young blood transfusions. Starting with celebrities.
1. No. It will not replace allergy medication. Furthermore it has been shown that unit nasal lavage can actually cause sinus infections. So really medication is your best bet. If you don't like medication then you can use nasal lavage in combination with sterile water. 2. matrixx is spot on. Besides, even if this was possible it would be illegal as it is beyond current ethical boundaries.
1.No ...... sinuses are air filled cavities in facial bones(frontal, maxillary, ethmoidal A&P, Sphenoidal) which open into Nasal cavity. So washing nose will wash away only nose but not the sinuses. ---->Infections remain. Allergic reaction is made about by mediators like histamine, leukotriens etc mainly . lavage will not remove it too. 2. No..... Cells of blood have a definite life span even if it is in old person or young one. RBC->110-120 days, platelet- few days etc. Plasma is always changing according to the fluid intake , output and rate of filtration and salt balance by kidney. The cells are always renewed when their life span gets completed. If this won't occur, it is a disease demanding transfusion of blood even if it is in old person or young one.
