Does anybody know direction of how to sketch a vector?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*directions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the vector is in 2-space (like <3,4>) you just draw a line from the origin to the point (3,4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the parts of the vector tell you how far to go in each direction from your starting position

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but it's giving me u = 2i-3j i don't know how to do the equations like these

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the So the vector is +2 in the i direction (usually the x axis) and -3 in the j direction (usually y)
