simplify: 2x^2-18/18-6x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is the 6x in the denominator or is it separate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so 2(x^2-9)/-6(x-3) then factor numerator using difference of two squares 2(x-3)(x+3)/-6(x-3) then the x-3 cancels out 2(x+3)/-6 and you can simplify x+3/-3

thanks!
