OpenStudy (anonymous):

70-4q=80

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

-4q = 10 q = -10/4 q = -5/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

70 - 4q = 80 -4q=10 q=-10/4 q=-5/2 or -2.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Combine the like terms. -q + -q + -2q, which is -4q Now you have 70-4q = 80 By using inverse operations, subtract 70 from each side, which will leave you with -4q = 10 Divide each side by -4 and you will get q = -10/4 or -5/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-4q=10 q=-5/2
