how could i make a table from y=7x²+7 x: -4 -2 0 2 4 y: ? ? ? ? ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just put the x-values in the function, I'll do the first: x=-4, y=7(-4)^2+7=119

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = 119,35,7,35,119

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats too much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do u mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im suppose to graph this and compare it to y=x²

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, that shouldn't be a problem. U get another table (use same x values or any values u like) and plot them on same graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but for the y=7x²+7 do i write x: 7 1 0 1 7 or am i wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So far u have x: -4 -2 0 2 4 y: 119,35,7,35,119 from mathematicalpro for 7x^2 +7 Plot those. On the same graph plot x: -4 -2 0 2 4 y: for x^2 ( u can fill in the y values).
