how do I find the slope of y=-x

OpenStudy (amistre64):

ideally, but watching the movement of y as you change x by a factor of 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is -1?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

when x=0; y=0 when x=1 y =-1 the slope is the -1 because that is how y moved

OpenStudy (amistre64):

after doing a bunch of these you begin to realize that the number in front of "x" is the same as the slope; in this case its a -1
