what is the surface area of a rectangular box that has a length of 6 ft and height of 2 ft and width of 6ft.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

120ft2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but in the answers given to there is only 66ft2 30ft2 36ft2 72ft2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats weird... i probably got it wrong then. bec. i did 6 * 6 (*2 - top and bottom) which is 72. Then 6*2 (*4 - the other faces of the box). this all adds up to 120 ft^2

OpenStudy (amistre64):

1 72 24 24 ---- 120 is correct is the box open

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2 36 4 ---- 144 if its a hollow tube like thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Even that's not in her options though

OpenStudy (amistre64):

might just be a broken question :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm i found the answer and ts 72ft2 but thnx anways
