MIT 18.06 Linear Algebra, Spring 2010 18 Online

Tell me what are pre-courses needed for studying linear algebra ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not much. Calc I and a good foundation in Alg II and Pre-Calc (for a beg. course) You may need to know Stats if you are in a related field.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, and a co-requisite would be Calc. II, especially with a focus on theory/proofs.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nothing really. Just algebra 1 and the ability to reason well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

discrete mathematics and nothing else

OpenStudy (anonymous):

set theory(discrete mathematics) and algebra I are enough.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Probably just a good foundation in algebra and basic equation solving. At my community college my teacher introduced Gaussian Elimination and Gauss-Jordan Substitution in my Precalculus class.
