Factor the trinomial completely: 196x^4+168x^3+20x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[196x^4+168x^3+20x^2=4x^2(49x^2+42x+5)=4x^2(7(7x^2+6x)+5)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

factorise x^2 first.. then---->x^2(196x^2+168x+20) will be easier to simplify.. ans: --->x^2(7x+1)(7x+5).... got it????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[196x^4+168x^3+20x^2\]\[=4x^2(49x^2+42x+5)\] \[=4x^2(7x+1)(7x+5)\]
