i am using ubuntu 11 my problem is how to debug and run source from gedit

I don't think that you can compile and run straight from gedit. Try Notepad++. I could be wrong though.

i use gedit and i think u cant, unless there is some plugin or something like that. U have to open a terminal, and use gdb for debuggin or compile and run as usual (./program).
