Since math is the most popular section I think we should break it up into parts, Algebra, Trig, Calc, etc.
Noo! Never! With math like it is, I can help people with easy stuff, get help with tricky stuff, and look over people's shoulders at hard stuff, and it takes way too much time to go back to home and then click a new section.
okay then could we untie the different sciences too? cause the math is together and science are broken up =/ i say pick one
I agree with neranonymous on his or her's first statement. Math should be broken down. It'll make it easier for the student needing help.

I think the mathematics group is just fine as is, as it covers all of mathematics. If we were to split up maths, then why not split up physics, chemistry and biology. For physics we would have, classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, relativity, solid state physics, thermodynamics, astronomy, astrophysics, and plasma physics. Whats more you can split each of these fields up further if you wished (astrophysics could have planetary science, stellar evolution, cosmology, interstellar medium, galactic physics etc). That's just for physics, now do the same for the other sciences, and you loose coherency of the whole site. Uniting all the science groups into one would not be a good idea either, as then the subject matters would just be huge. Also, there would be far too much confusion, as teh language of one scientific discipline is different from another. What if some biology student were to ask "what is plasma", and be answered by a physicist that it is an ionised gas". That example is a bit pedantic, but in biology and physics, plasma has a different definition. Each of the maths, and the sciences are unique disciplines, and should stay that way in my opinion.
