and for the height it has fallen you can use the equation height = 1/2*g*t^2 where g is the acceleration due to gravity

the equation for the acorn higher in the tree will be height = 1/2 g t^2 and for the second acorn which is lower than the first one the equation will be height = 13 + 1/2 g t^2. I've also made a graph for it. Hope it helps ^^
