I have a parabola with a vertex of (1,-8) and a Y intercept of (0,-5) now i need to find how to solve for the x intercepts. Y=3x^2-6x-5

as usual equate it to zero dude!! for formula go for this site http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quadratic_equation. x intercept is something wre y is zero hence u shuold equate
