x^2 - 6x - 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

... what about it? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats x???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shuold we equate it to zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-1,7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 7 , x = -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those are the roots/zeros so I don't know if that's what you're looking for or not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2-6x-7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you need help in determining how to find roots?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no Factoring Trinomials with Negative Numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, if you factor that.. you're gonna come up with (x+1)(x-7)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because +1 * -7 = c or -7 and +1-7 = b or -6 so +1 and -7 will be our numbers and we'll represent that by (x+1)(x-7)
