I need help! The eighth graders are selling Tshirts and caps to raise money for their end of year party. They earn a profit of $5 per shirt and $10 per cap. The question now is, 1.What equation shows how the profit P is relatied to the number of shirts and sold S and the number of caps sold C? 2. find the rofit if the students sell 30 shirts and 50 caps. Please, help me out!
1.P=5S + 10C 2.650$
I need an explanation :(
if each shirt help earn a profit of 5$ then 'S' no. of shirts would earn a profit of '5S' $.. similarly if each cap help earn a profit of 10$ then 'C' no. of caps would earn a profit of '10C' $.. therefore total profit is = 5S + 10C further substitute value of S & C in equation for ans to 2. we get P =5*30 +10*50 p=650$
ohhh! Thanks a Lot :)
