solving equations
how do u solve eqations
that's a very general question. depends on the equation. For simple algebraic equations of one variable you isolate the variable of interest on one side...
An equation will have an equal (=) sign. If it requires a solution, there will be an unknown like x or y etc. There will be other data that is a logical equality. Treat both sides of an equal sign equally. what you do to one side you must do to the other side of the equal sign, otherwise you will spoil the equality. Isolate the unknown to one side using algebraic operations like adding, subtracting, multiplying etc. Must do this accurately and pay attention to signs. Practice a lot and it will become automatic, setting up the equation is usually more difficult than solving it.
