Anyone can help me figure which transformations are onto and one to one? T:R^3 --> R^3 is the rotation about the z axis through an angle of pi/4 and T:R^2--> R^2 contraction T(x)=1/2x

I also need to find the kernel and range which I got for the first one: ker(T) is [8;0] and range R^3 and second kernel is [0;0] and i don't know about the range
