A car initially at rest, starts moving with constant acceleration of 7 m/s^2 and covers a distance of 56 m in 4 sec. Calculate the distance travelled by the car in 10 sec.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

distance travelled = 0.5 * 7 * 10^2 = 350 m in 10 secs

i used the equation for constant acceleration from rest d = 0.5 a t^2 - i didn't need tp know distance travelled (56 m).
