Which of the following is a polynomial with roots –2, –3 , and 3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

post the "following"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x3 + 4x2 + 9x + 24 x3 – 4x2 + 9x – 24 x3 + 2x2 + 9x + 18 x3 – 2x2 + 9x – 18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why dont you substitute the roots in the polynomials and see which option solves all three roots?

OpenStudy (zarkon):

if -2,-3,3 are roots then the polynomial is (x+2)(x+3)(x-3) and the constant term would be 2*3*(-3)=-18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dhatraditya okay god idea. And zarkon none of the choices i put up match ur answer sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no actually zarkon gave the easiest answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (zarkon):
