how do i change base when working with natural log ln

OpenStudy (anonymous):

change from what base to what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just in general, caue i know the forumal for change base of log, but is it the same for ln

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, I think so since ln is just \[log_e\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you have: \[\log_a(b)=\frac{\log_c(b)}{\log_c(a)}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, thats fro log but waht aboit for ln

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ln is just base e so replace c with e (2.718...) :P That change of base formula is for any base c.
