Use synthetic divison to divide. 4x^3+2x^2-10x+1/x-2

okay.. we place 2, not negative 2, outside and inside, we place the coefficients of the declining powers of 10, the coefficients are 4, 2, -10, and the constant 1 we include at the end as well.. 2 | 4 2 -10 1 | We bring down the first number, 4.. then we simply multiply by the 2 repeatedly and subtract our answers from the top row to get the coefficients of the answer (minus one degree).. It looks like: 2 | 4 2 -10 1

not done.. sorry..

2 | 4 2 -10 1 | 8 20 20 4 10 10 21 The answer is 4x^2 + 10x + 10 + 21/(x-2) Oh.. you ADD, not subtract the numbers
