Answers are \[x=\frac{-3+\sqrt{41}}{2}\] or \[x=\frac{-3-\sqrt{41}}{2}\] See attached file for how I got those answers.
I got square root 17 instead of 41.
You must've said 9+8 instead of 9+4*8 = 9+32 = 41
nevermind i see what i did wrong.
so you missed a 4 in there
