A steeplejack can see 21 km to the horizon from the top of a building. These numbers are related by the equation V=3.4sprt(h) where V is the distance in the kilometers from the steeplejacks eyes to the horizon and the H is the height in meters of the steeplejacks eyes. What is the altitude (to the nearest m) of the steeplejacks eyes?

\[21=3.4\sqrt(h)\] \[h=(21/3.4)^{2}\] \[\approx38.15\]
