Here is the Easiest ques.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes is the easiest answer ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wre

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

3 0 -- or --- 0 7 which is Undefined??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3/0

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0/7 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can divide 0 by a number, but you can not divide a number by 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y cant u divide a number by 0?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

\[\Huge \Confusion!\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

obvioslly its 3/0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same here saif confusion

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Nick k bachay!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

bta bhai.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mujhe bhi nai pata saifooo ke bache

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

jao yaar, tmne concpt say nai parha!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sab ka apna apna hota hai...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does dividing mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are you actually doing when you divide?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the opposite of multiplying

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, but think about it in a more simple way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Saif ye arif se pochna tha na

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are splitting something into units so that there is the same number of that something in the number of groups you are trying to end up with. get that part?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

ME?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

lol @ nick. i posted a link on wall, chk karlo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whoever didn't understand why you can't divide by 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

chak de

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Chak De Phadday!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is a really simple reason why you cant divide by 0. It would break one of the basic axioms of mathematics, that a*0 = 0 for all numbers a. If you could divide by 0, then there would be a such number as: \[\frac{1}{0}\] Just like: \[\frac{1}{3}*3 = 1, \frac{5}{27}*27 = 5\] etc, if we did: \[\frac{1}{0} *0\] we would get 1, and that breaks the rule that a*0 = 0 for all a.

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

SO?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we dont like broken rules :P lol

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

i mean, how to solve them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm so y dont we change the rules to include that then?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are a lot of other rules of math that depend on the fact that a*0 = 0 for all a. Allowing that contradiction would be disastrous!!!!! Dire consequences!!!!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

SO HOW TO SOLVE THEM?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

how to keep them in mind?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How to solve what? what are we talking about? i didnt read the whole conversation >.<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess i should say im sry for just walking into the middle of a conversation lol

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

ok, so some1 told me, when ever 0 is on top means zero whnever 0 is down means undefined.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bam u kno how to solve them :D

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

lol, i knw how to solve.. but is thing correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thats correct :)

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

k, thnks! :)
