Solve 2x + 3 > 1 and 5x – 9 ≤ 6. 2 < x ≤ 3 -1 < x ≤ 3 2 < x ≤ -3/5 no solution

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

2x + 3 > 1 2x > 1-3 2x > -2 x > -2/2 x > -1 ----------------- 5x-9≤ 6 5x≤ 6+9 5x≤ 15 x≤ 15/5 x≤ 3 So x > -1 AND x≤ 3 at the same time. Combine these to get -1 < x ≤ 3
