What is the value of X? I'll post a picture.
If we are to assume that X is a central angle; what do we know about arc lengths and central angles that will help us out with this?
Nothing?
Assuming it's a central angle: \[360-100-70-80=x\] \[x=110\]
how is it that you know absolutely nothing about the problems you are posting? i mean other than having somebody else just do all the thinking for you?
I never learned how to find X, this is all brand new to me.
X is just a name they want to call it so that you can identify it. Now, when we make an angle, it sweeps out a path; when the angle turns 360 degrees; that path makes a complete circle; with an arclength of 360 degrees when we turn the angle by 45 degrees, we make an arc length of 45 degrees when we turn the angle by 137 degrees, we make an arc length of 137 degrees. What can you determine by these statements?
what correlation can we make between arc length and degrees ? are the the same? different? or no correlation ?
