The parabola x-3(y-2)^2=8 opens to the right. True or false?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if we solve for "x" we can see whats going on ... x = 8 + 3(y-2)^2 the right side will never go negative so x is always gonna stay positive

OpenStudy (amistre64):

in other words; it opens up always to the positive x axis .... to the right

OpenStudy (amistre64):

that..and the graph says so too :) http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=x-3%28y-2%29^2%3D8
