Which of the following is an exponential decay function and why? f(x)=7(5)^x f(x)=5(4/3)^x f(x)=3(7/3)^-x f(x)=3(-1/3)^x

Decay is always a negative exponent. A positive exponent would cause the equation to grow, so its the third one :)
