1.06 169.55 ---- = ------- 1 x 1.06x = 169.55 x = 159.95
OpenStudy (anonymous):
say the camera price is x then x+.06x=price the price plus .06 times the price(the tax) equals the total price so 1.06x=price 1.06x=169.55 x=159.95
