solve the system of equations. Enter your answer as an ordered pair , 4x+5y=51 & 4x-5y=21

Lemme know if you're ready to work together on this.

Just add the two equations together, LHS to LHS and RHS to RHs to eliminate y. Solve for x and then replace x in either equation with the value of x and solve for y.\[\{x\to 9,y\to 3\} \]

Note that the reason you can just add the two equations together is because the y values cancel out. That leaves you with an equation that has only one variable, meaning you can balance the equation to solve for it.
