x² - 6x + 9 - 1 = 0
x² - 6x + 8 = 0
x² -4x -2x + 8 = 0
x(x-4) -2(x-4) = 0
(x-2)(x-4) = 0
so either x-2 = 0 or x-4 = 0
so x = 2 or x = 4

yes in this case u do not get approximations, maybe some of the questions might not have approximate roots that u can show in decimal numbers....
