just how to find via simple calculation without any machines? ex to find e^2=?

the "exact" answer is \[e^2\] and e is irrational so it has an infinite non-repeating non-terminating decimal expansion. you do not have an infinite amount of time to square it
but e^x= some wat a long series...
\[e^x=\sum_{k=0}^{\infty}\frac{x^k}{k!}\]
so \[e^2=\sum_{k=0}^{\infty}\frac{2^k}{k!}\] good luck computing this!
you need a calculator if you want a decimal. that is for sure
