an object is traveling a linear path according to the equation s(t) = 4t^3-3t^2+5 where t is measured in seconds and s(t) measured in meters. what is the position of the object when it stops moving??

First you must find the t for which the velocity is 0. Therefore you must find the function of the velocity v(t) = s'(t) And solve for v(t) = 0. Once you have that, you can plug that t into s(t) to find the position when it stops
