Anti-whaling laws are in place in many countries. There are also many organisations (e.g Greenpeace) who both raise awarness of the problem through education of everyone, including those directly affected by whaling and take physical action against whaling ships and the countries that continue to allow whaling. You should be able to find how you can help by looking on google. I would recommend Greenpeace.
