It is self explanatory....

Isotopes are atoms of the same element.
Hence they have same number of protons and electrons. Since the chemical properties depend on the number of electrons and their electronic configuration, isotopes have similar chemical properties.
However, they have different number of neutrons (which are electrically neutral) in the nucleus. This gives them different atomic mass/weight. The extra neutrons do not affect their chemical properties....
