No, not possible unless the patient has lung transplantations. The pathophysiology behind copd rests in chronic brochitis or emphysema. Unless you can stop the immune response, which you cannot do. You can prolong the life however, with lung transplantations and medication such as steroids and long term oxygen therapy.
