A bit of hardware problem guys.. i am not able to connect my headphones to the PC.. Its not starting.. Saying i will have to close my speakers in the errors. Can't both work simultaneously?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Under Winblows this is not possible. Try MacOS X/Linux/FreeBSd or other *NIX.

OpenStudy (akshay_budhkar):

I don't think so.. Realtek which is the company of my headphones says on the manual that both can work together on the any OS.. But its not happening.. :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you install the driver?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm using windows 7.so we need not install xtra drivers.it works for my speaker but not for my headphones

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, the windows kernel only permits one device to output. You could try getting a Y and plugging both to the same source though. (OR go to http://fedoraproject.org/ and try it.)
