I am still having some issues with getting my mind around slopes ..... I want this ti be concrete in my mind .... can u help

i know just the thing look this up on khan academy, if you have some time, you can look at thier videos and they definatly have slopes

i get all the formulas
but just being able to see slope in my minds eye and in front of me

oh well, it was worth a shot, if it was mee id make flash cards on that vid, then look over those cards over and over, how's that sound? so that way u can get it to sink in! yay flashcards!

let me see if I can explain better ... I can graph it... I know the formulas ... I just dont see rise over run interms of is it from point to point or is it from y axis to x axis on the gaph itself

try drawing a graphs so u can visualise it, maybe thatl help. put up a straight line on a peice of graph paper, and try to find the slope, if thats managalbe, but thats the first time ive heard of that prob. sorry!
