Functions.. Haven't had this since highschool.. kinda forgot the vertical line test.. if two points fall together.. that means it is or isn't a function? Picture comin

Vertical line test= pretend that there's vertical lines all over ur paper. If a line crosses ur graph in 2 places, the nit's not a function

A function, by definition, is a line that only has one y-value for every x-value, or one output for every input. So a circle isn't a function because there are more than one y-values for every x-value in the graph.
